Quinn was a good player when you think back.
The Mother Theresa thing against Quinn was a cheap shot, who came up with it, Dunphy? Keane?
cark!
Was it Keane then?
aye
Nasty business.
He really was. Got better as he got older. GTFABM. He was almost a little bit overly nice but I had dealings with him once over at a match in Sunderland in the Keane era. We were a bunch of scruffy lads over for the session and just because he knew one of lads aul lad from a pub he drank in at home he bent over backwards for us.
Scored one of the greatest points ever scored in Croke Park too.
That was a great point
That was a great point
Kiely would drop him and never play him again if he tried that shite with Limerick
Quinn had a lovely touch for a big man.
That touch and celebration was iconic. We bet the absolute bollocks off them that night after a shaky start. Houghton missed some amount of chances
Should have beaten them that night
we beat the tar out of them 1-1
