Wednesday night’s highly anticipated record Lotto draw will remain capped at €19,060,800 for a fourth time.
The funds that would normally go to the jackpot will now be distributed to the next prize tier at which there is a winner. In the last three draws, it has been the Match 5 + Bonus tier that has benefited from the prize flow-down.

Odds for winning the Lotto jackpot are 1/10.7 million
Odds for winning daily millions are 1/3.2 million
Neither are attractive odds but if you’re going have a flutter,I’d suggest the latter.

If you have €1 @10m/1 and you win €19m you’ve beaten the odds
If you have €1 @3m/1 and you win €1m you’ve been under payed on the odds.

I don’t usually play the lotto but I’ve spent €60 or so on the last 10 lottos. Some cunt better win this soon so I can get back to realising this is it.
