Love Island

Not professional in sense of Dublin footballers but professional in sense they are paid.

Any time I see them ( granted rarely) they are playing in near empty stadiums in the orient populated by ex-pat British financiers swigging lager .

I think it is in next Olympics ?

Was it in the last olympics ?

No idea. I’d usually stick to the diving, swimming, track and field and weightlifting as my go to Olympic events.

Really? I thought it was just a higher form of tag rubby? - as your man said, it’s always in empty stadiums.

I know Greg very well. If he had a bit more rugby nous he’d be playing for Munster. Seruously quick. Sound chap but a bit of a comper all the same.

It was

A comper?

Yeah thought that…want him to expand a bit more

Wouldnt be a great fan of the sevens but it gets decent crowds albeit all there for no more than a piss up. It goes on for 12 or 14 hours a day so people dont attend for the entire day and come and go from their seats for booze.

Irish lads get paid fuck all maybe 20k a year. But decent lifestyle for a few years and maybe shop window to a pro contract for some

Exactly what you said – Jock, full of shite , big fish small pond - that’s what I presume he is saying

I’m firmly in camp Greg anyway - A fellow club man and I hope he finds love.

Ya that sort of thing. Theyd wear a baseball cap on backwards or two popped collard shirts instead of just one.

Flip flops and shorts around town in January
