2 threads Iâm getting it in⌠and iâm still managing to do a small biteen of work⌠day is flying.
Again, a futile argument that uses distraction as opposed to dealing with the incident. What the Fook has Rooneyâs indiscretions got to do with Suarez biting Chielini. Bizarre!

I would think a 4 to 6 game national team ban would be a fair enough punishment[/QUOTE]
+1
Rooney and Van Persie have a litany of violent acts in their footballer careers, do you hold them in similar stead to Suarez?
A 4 to 6 game international ban would not suffice in this case. Itâs clear Liverpool FC have encouraged Suarezâs degenerate behaviour by indulging him and by rewarding his thuggish and racist ways with a lucrative new contract.
They have nurtured the animal within and the fruits of this have been witnessed by the entire world. They must also be punished, and an entire footballing ban for at least 6 months is the only sane course of action here.
FIFA must send the message out loud and clear that delinquents like Suarez will not get away with their filth.

Will Neymar get a ban also, mate?
I would hold Rooney in similar stead, and Roy Keane. No Van Persie incident springs to mind, except the alleged rape while contemptible is irrelevant to this discussion.
I doubt it, mate.
He didnât indulge his cannibalistic instincts yet.

But the intention was there to injure his opponent. Under your rules he should be treated the same as Suarez.
Why was there no outrage when Diego Costa headbutted a Dutch player the other week. He didnât even get a ban and very little was made of it. His onfield behavior over the past few seasons has been as bad if not worse than Suarez including spitting and previously being banned for headbutting opponents.
Yey lads are talking about 6 month bans from all games for Suarez yet Costa didnât so much as get a token ban.
Van Persie likes to use his elbows.
Which theyâve all been adequately punished for. And a 6 game international ban will be enough punishment for Chewy Luis.
What I canât get is the idiotic comparisons to incomparable incidents of other players from his supporters in am attempt to lessen/justify his actions.
The whataboutery on this thread is fucking laughable.
Suarez has bitten three different players in the last five years.
The scumbag needs to be banned from all football for a long time so he can seek professional help and try and sort out his demons.

So if Van Persie elbows some Mexican lad next week would you advocate a six match ban? I canât ever recall Van Persie getting an 8 match ban. In fact he was let off unpunished when he smashed Cabaye either last season or the one before.

Diego Coasta has headbutted at least three players in the last three months. Why no outrage to that?
Because biting people is a far worse crime in soccer, do you really need me to tell you that?

We are just looking for fair play, mate⌠If FIFA can ignore other such violent conduct why should they zone in on this particular case? He has done his time for previous acts, they have no plae here.
lee Cattermole would be serving a life ban if doing the same crime was an issueâŚ
Headbutt ok, bite not ok ? :D:D:D
