From what I recall we retained our nations league division two status but dropped to third seeds for the WC qualifiers.
I would assume it will be a similar mix of countries in the nations league, think Iceland who have gone way back and Sweden were two of the relegated sides with Wales, Hungary amongst others promoted
When you think of the abuse McCarthy, Trap, O’Neill got for coming away with vital wins in pursuit of qualification in places like Georgia, Kazakhstan, etc to the euphoria of Kenny winning a dead rubber in Luxembourg.
Kenny deserves to keep his gig. Results have picked up and the players want him to continue which should be enough.
As we have seen over the last few days, teams with far more quality than us have utterly shat the bed with qualification in their own hands when the pressure came on. The results when there is something on the line is what he will quote rightfully be judged on. A solid nations league and euro play offs an absolute minimum
Georgia are a very technical side but have nothing up front for decades now. They are always a tough out at home as they are able to keep the ball and frustrate you but really struggle to score
