In a back 5, Coleman, Duffy, Egan, Doherty should be able to still contribute in 18 months time when the next campaign proper startsā¦ Collins, OāShea and Omobomidele there too so we should be fineā¦ McClean the only man who played tonight who probably wonāt be there in 2 years timeā¦
Midfield youāll have Cullen, Knight, Hendrick, McGrathā¦ maybe Kilkenny, Smallbone and Coventryā¦ Youād like to think one more really good midfielder would pop up by March 2023ā¦
Up front youād really want Parrott and Idah to be playing at a higher level by thenā¦ Robinson, Ogbene and possibly Connolly if he sorts himself out also should be in their primeā¦
All in all, itās not the worst outlook.

You have to give him credit for lowering expectations that much that not getting to the play offs for one campaign and losing a play off for another campaign is seen as progress, I give him.that

I would always have deferred to his expertice in soccer but now Im beginning to wonder
