It merely proves that Leinster are too machine line and lacking in independent thinking. Connacht are mavericks.
Ulster should destroy Munster but it might go against their every instinct to take advantage of the new rules to cut loose and show off their skills

That (Connacht) goal came from a free being advanced 50 metres for feck acting, which can only be a positive.

Funny think about that was that it took about 10 lads out of the game in that half. A great innovation
I presume the 4 x 15 minute quarters is for tonight only?
I didn’t see anything in the new rules about either quarters or reducing the time of the game.
That would be like asking for a 3 day work week although one can dream.
Hopefully they could wittle it down to 2 quarters of 15 eventually.

That goal doesn’t get scored under normal rules. Pockets of spaces exploited by pace and strong running. Ulster boys stunned when there wasn’t more of them there to track runners
