Mac's National Hunt Betting 2013/2014
Clar Na Mionn - 3.35 Galway
1 point win
8/1 - Betfair Exchange
2nd so no use. Bank -1.12 points

2 bets today in Galway and Naas, both Paul Nolan horses in the bumpers.

4.35 Galway - Like it a lot 4/1 Boyles
4.15 Naas - Behemoth 5/2 Boyles

1 point e/w on both of them and a 0.5 point e/w double. I had planned on putting Defy Logic into an e/w treble with them but at 1/2 I’m not touching him. Some great racing today on both cards.

Well done Mac, think you are up.

Looks like you were chinned.

Yep thought I was up alright but the right call. One to keep an eye on anyway. Word was that those 2 Nolan horses were the best he has coming through the yard which wouldn’t be that encouraging.

Drift out to 12-1 at least meant the place bet returned 3.4 points so a loss for the day of 1.6 points over all.

Bank -2.72 points

should you not be taking 4-1 rather than SP as that is what you stated?

I’d backed with Boyles who are BOG so was going off that. Happy to amend if there’s an integrity issue :stuck_out_tongue:

You are alright, nice drift:)

1 pt e/w Flaxen Flare at 7/1
0.5 ew treble Flaxen Flare 7s, Que Pasa 2s, Rye Martini SP

@Mac , any fancies for Cork tomorrow?

Should be going through the card in the morning.

I like you @Tess Tickle , you have a beautiful way with words.

how many points down does a poster have to be before admins culls the thread?

25 times the amount of gears on a fixie

1 point e/w Double - Stan James

Quito de la Roque (9/4) 1.25 Thurles
Diyala (15/8) 2.25 Thurles

Double pays 8.36/1

Running Total -7.72 points (2 pts IR)

QDLR over 2lms 4 ??? I think Realt Dubh will piss this, no price tho

It’s 2m6f kid, he’s won over 2m4 and 3m before so distance not an issue. Thurles brought out the best in him before so taking a punt it’ll revitalise him. Most of Realt Dubhs best runs were over 2 miles too. He’s deserved favourite but happy to take him on.

Edit - weight also a concern too but not enough to turn me off.

that QDLR needs 6 miles to be at this best

Looking for valuable longshots a lot of which I’ll expect to place at big prices

Are you altering your approach @Mac ?
