Clar Na Mionn - 3.35 Galway
1 point win
8/1 - Betfair Exchange
2nd so no use. Bank -1.12 points
2 bets today in Galway and Naas, both Paul Nolan horses in the bumpers.
4.35 Galway - Like it a lot 4/1 Boyles
4.15 Naas - Behemoth 5/2 Boyles
1 point e/w on both of them and a 0.5 point e/w double. I had planned on putting Defy Logic into an e/w treble with them but at 1/2 I’m not touching him. Some great racing today on both cards.

Well done Mac, think you are up.
Yep thought I was up alright but the right call. One to keep an eye on anyway. Word was that those 2 Nolan horses were the best he has coming through the yard which wouldn’t be that encouraging.
Drift out to 12-1 at least meant the place bet returned 3.4 points so a loss for the day of 1.6 points over all.

should you not be taking 4-1 rather than SP as that is what you stated?
It’s 2m6f kid, he’s won over 2m4 and 3m before so distance not an issue. Thurles brought out the best in him before so taking a punt it’ll revitalise him. Most of Realt Dubhs best runs were over 2 miles too. He’s deserved favourite but happy to take him on.
Edit - weight also a concern too but not enough to turn me off.
