Diamonbacks and Rangers both upset the odds to make what is being dubbed the Longshot World Series

First time ever in the LCS both won the last two games on the road to win in 7. Los Serpientes have been written off all year and every round, and will be again but anything can happen.

Eovaldi is toying with the Diamondbacks here

The Yanks are back!

Welcome to New York

The Yanks galactico approach hasnā€™t worked too well in recent years

Ohtani makes mugs out of all of Canada who thought he as flying there yesterday and instead drives across town to the dodgers for the measly sum of 700 million for ten years

Wonder what the tax difference is. Would need to check it. Canada gets fucked with hockey because of it versus southern states who couldnā€™t give a fuck about it

Itā€™s one of the many reasons Canada gets fucked with hockey. taxes would be fairly high in California, he clearly just wanted to go from a team who never makes the playoffs to a perennial contender. Though Iā€™m sure the money didnā€™t hurt.

Yeah Cali isnā€™t great. Thereā€™s the shite about profile there though.

Iā€™d rather live in any major Canadian city than LA though.

That is a stupid amount of money

God I dunno about that. Most of LA is a concrete jungle with crazy traffic but id bite your hand off to live in Manhattan or El Segundo.

I donā€™t think you want to experience Winnipeg or Edmonton when itā€™s - 35 celcius

How is that allowed?

It goes into a pension?? :person_shrugging:

Probably something to do with avoiding paying tax in California
