Based on watching the documentary and what I have read online, I would say its very unlikely she was murdered in Steveās trailer or the garage, as you say its impossible to get rid of all traces of DNA.
Most likely I would say is the cops rushed to judgment, as they did in the previous case, and failed to follow up on other potential suspects and crime locations. Itās a 40 acre property with lots of buildings.
If it is true as is being reported that other evidence presented at the trail was omitted in the documentary, that is also troubling as again were the directors interested in the truth or supporting a biased narrative.

Yeah her phone and some other device were also found in the fire pit. Iām not sure why that wasnāt mentioned but to me it makes little or no difference. Her bones are far more of a piece of evidence than that so it makes little or no difference in my opinion. The stuff about him calling her and specifically wanting her to go take the pictures is odd, but not that odd for a man who isnāt that intelligent and is socially awkward.
There is definitely doubt and suspicion about him, but there is too much doubt to have convicted him.
The nephew was a worse case. Absolutely no physical evidence to corroborate his āconfessionā but yet was convicted based solely on his confession.
