Man City

It is good to see a fiscally prudent club like Liverpool prevail for a change. The way the elite coterie of super franchises splash the cash around is very unseemly.

Fiscally prudent?

Don’t Liverpool have the 2nd highest wage bill in the EPL?

For a statto you ain’t half clueless.

Have you perused the most recent financial statements of Liverpool? They make for very impressive reading. Profits of £42 million off a turnover of £532 million.

Manchester City were only able to generate a profit of £10 million off a turnover of £535 million.

Financial dopers Chelsea had a loss off £97 million off turnover of £420 million.

Incorrect. A quick google informs that they are 3rd rather 2nd in the wages table. Both Manchester clubs spending more on wages. It’s been a very gradual, prudent improvement by the red men.

A statue for Silva?

I’d have Kompany in ahead of him.

Spuds are the most in debt club in Europe.

Incorrect. Murderpool have a higher wage bill than Man City.

£87m a year, you halfwit.

Liverpool’s wage bill is £264m a year.

Yeah not sure about the validity of most of those wage bill links😅 Lallana and Lovren must have been on huge money!

Liverpool’s wage bill is monstrous.

They did well to win the league but give a manager 4/5 years of unlimited support and back him financially and it’s the least you expect.

Flick is probably the best German coach about now, on the cusp of a domestic treble in his first season after taking over the club midway through the season.

Taxi for @Fulvio_From_Aughnacloy. Billy Bullshit caught out lying to the forum again on the double. If you actually read behind the article behind the headline of the Daily Mail article, he’s relying upon as his source, Manchester City have a higher wage bill than Liverpool. If Liverpool are behind Manchester City and Man U in the wage bill, that makes them THIRD in England and not SECOND as he has tried repeatedly to misrepresent to the forum.

Here’s the text of the Daily Mail article that he is relying upon as his source.

  1. Barcelona £438m
  2. Manchester United £332m
  3. Manchester City £315m
  4. Real Madrid £312m
  5. Liverpool £310m
  6. Bayern Munich £292m
  7. Paris Saint-Germain £290m
  8. Chelsea £285m
  9. Juventus £281m
  10. Arsenal £230m

So the fifth highest paid team in Europe this season were dumped out by a team not even in the top 10?

:grimacing:

Five of the top five paid teams in Europe from England and the furthest any of them got was the semi final of the Europa League.

Cringe for Statto.

Sweep, sweep. Deflect, deflect.

You’re caught out yet again lying to the fourm. Only this time, you shoot yourself in the foot. The article you cited and were relying on from the Daily Mail as your trump card to prove that Liverpool have the 2nd highest wage bill in England and a higher wage bill than Manchester City actually states that Manchester City have a higher wage bill than Liverpool and Liverpool have the 3rd highest wage bill.

Cringe.

It is Groundhog Day unfortunately. @Fulvio_From_Aughnacloy pedalling blatant lies and untruths to the forum yet again. How can you have a debate on any subject when a forum member is deliberately pedalling lies and untruths?

Yes you are.

5 of the top 10 highest paid teams in Europe and they are all out.

How embarrassing.

You owe an apology to @Aertel220. When he challenged you on your lies that Liverpool had the 2nd highest wage bill in the EPL, you resorted to hurling personal insults at him. You called him ‘a halfwit’.
