Ate there a couple of days after it opened. Was a bit underwhelmed by the whole experience but have planned to give it another shot. For a place that specialises in sandwiches the menu was actually pretty limited.
I got a south fried chicken, on a bed of mac & cheese and cabbage (I hadn’t noticed this when reading the menu). All it came with was a few aldi crisps in a basket. Was a bit steep at €9.
I had the two sandwiches at lunchtime, one was amazing, a special for Christmas, like a Christmas dinner in toasted bread, turkey, ham, stuffing, some veg, cranberry sauce etc, it was superb, came with a side of 5 roasties and gravy, it was incredible, 12 euro sounds expensive but I wouldn’t feel ripped off, cheaper than a box of fags
The rueben was dreadful for 9 euro, nothing good to say about it really, but I still ate it in fairness, it’s a lovely outlet really, looks class
@balbec… Lovely bit of pork stew/ red goulash yesterday with potato pancakes, gurkins and salads… Cottage cheese stuffed dumplings also on the side… I love Polish tucker .
