Managerial Merrygoround Thread

Said like someone who has been legally told to keep his distance from other people.

That seems well organised so.

The FBI contacted me to tell me to stay away from Labane. I said no problem.

That’s a Zing right there

They had their mind made up

Credit the FAI for getting Spock tied in cos he’d be perfect here

Chelsea could be a real force again with a serious operator like Graham Potter at the helm. Tuchel was out of his depth really. A very strange and weird guy as well.

I suspect Potter won’t be able to hack it at a club which is continually under the tabloid microscope, even if it’s not a “big club”.

Chelsea specialise in appointing short term guns for hire. Potter’s whole football philosophy also seems to go against that.

Would Brendy Rodgers see Brighton as beneath him, he would?

Bizarre timing seeing as they gave him a ball of money last week.

Leicester was a backwards step from Glasgow Celtic so Brendan has shown that he isn’t egotistical

He’d have been better off signing no one in the summer

Chelsea must want to steer clear of Poch because of his Tottenham connections, in a similar manner to how Manchester United decided to steer clear of Antonio Conte because he wasn’t “the United way”.

Hansi Flick would fit Chelsea’s traditional managerial profile of somebody who can come in and quickly knock results out a failing group of talented players.

But because of the timing not fitting, he would also be an appropriate Manchester United-style appointment for an ownership that so far appears to not know what it is doing.

I think Tuchel wanted to be sacked.

I’d say you are not far off it. That Boehly laddie looks like two ends of a cunt.

He’s some money made now in two years between the PSG pay off and this one. He can go back to managing for love now

He’ll have to find new love as the Chelsea job cost him his wife.

If only they had the previous owner back again.

An awful individual. I made a principled stand not to go and watch the LA Dodgers when I was over there recently. I went to watch the hopeless LA Angels instead.
