Back to the books for Steve

As alluded to elsewhere, Steve Bruce has been sacked by West Brom.

They’ve have eight managers since November 2017.

WBA - Who’s Boss Anyway?

That’s some random list of has beens, never wases and complete unknowns given a chance.

Steve Bruce has a remarkable string of jobs for a lad who bar maybe his time at Birmingham has had very little success in his career,

Pardew , Big Sam and Brucie. You could nearly guess these 3 names along with Roy Hodgson and you’d be right

West Brom are some club to fill up the bingo card, they’ve had all of Hodgson, Pulis, Megson, Pardew, Allardyce and Bruce manage them.

Before that Nigel Pearson, Tony Mowbray, Bryan Robson, Brian Little, Bobby Gould and Big Ron.

Chris Wilder is surely the man for the job, maybe Mark Hughes, maybe Alex McLeish.

It’d make a decent quiz question

How many clubs in common have all 3 of Steve Bruce, Alan Pardew and Sam Allardyce managed?

Newcastle

Palace.

West Ham or West Brom

Ah Brucey was actually very good at Wigan and Sunderland too. Finished 9th with Wigan I think. Got a great tune out of Darren Bent at the Stadium of Light.

Did Bruce manage West Ham?

The only club of note there is Palace
