Manchester United 18/19 - Producing McTominays on a yearly basis

Played em off the park at times. Suits us nobody talking. Post match the two Marcos first question was about Man U and last question was about Man U. As Noble said we concentrated on ourselves and knew weā€™d win.

Itā€™s arguable that Mou is a worse manager than Moyes or van Gaal or indeed any manager United had between Busby and Ferguson. Quite the accomplishment, take a bow Mou.

Louis did a decent job

Van Gaal done far more harm than moyes.

The real ā€œharmā€ was done by Fergie . He left a mediocre aging bloated squad on big contracts . A soft league in 2013 papered over a massive structural deficiency .

Thatā€™ll set the cat among the pigeons. His last vanity project was cherry picking Moyes

Nonsense. Fergie left United as league champions. Moyes was gone before any real harm was done but van Gaal destroyed the squad.

They won a bad league when most of their rivals imploded and RVP had a freak season . There was no sustainably .

The premier league has been absolutely muck since about 20010.

Back to the future ??

@TreatyStones wonā€™t like that.

Moyes personally might not have been up to it (but wasnā€™t given a proper chance) but that was the type of manager they needed post Sir Alex. Solid experienced manager with a good track record of bringing through players. Board caved in, fired him within 6 months and since then have gone for two big names who were has beens in Van Gaal and Mourinho. After the Mourinho implosion at Chelsea when he brought them from champions to 16th in the table by the following Christmas and lost the dressing room, it was some decision to bring in Mourinho.

Donā€™t think moyes should have been let near the job tbh. He achieved very little with Everton. United should have gone for Jose immediately after sir Alex. They had 3 seasons then to find a proper replacement before things would inevitably go wrong.

Mourinhoā€™s record since leaving Internazionale in 2010 has been very modest. Two domestic league titles and thatā€™s managing three of the best resourced clubs in the world in Real Madrid, Chelsea and Man U. Heā€™s lost his touch long before Sir Alex departed in 2013.

He doesnā€™t look like heā€™s enjoying it either.

His clobber is getting worse too. He was there on MOTD looking like a roaster coming from a heavy night at a wake
