Manchester United 2014/15

Better than last season!

Big Louis

I feel sorry for @dodgy-keeper, this result will be so raw for him he won’t be able to watch any Premier League football next weekend no doubt.

Moyes is the benchmark.

@Juhniallio, Manchester United 1-2 Swansea City (FT).

Spoiler that shit mate. People might be reading this at work.

What an aggregation of cunts in that photo.

Could be a blessing in disguise if it makes Woodward pull the finger out and sign Vidal, Blind or an imposing centre half. After 20 odd years of success you have to take the rough with the smooth. So many average players in that squad. Will find it hard to shift them with the money some of them are on too.

Poulter can pull it off, McIlroy looks like he’s trying to hard

Van Gaal in his early 60’s is wrong generation. Its like Howard Kendall coming back to Everton or Kenny Dalglish’s managerial career after Blackburn.

I read Sid Lowe’s Madrid Barca book a few months ago, took note of the disastrous qualities of Van Gaal which meant he was a failure at Barca and predicted that this would end in tears for United.

I’ll dig out the post to show I’m clever.

Ta for the updates @Fran and lads. Pissed off I missed this. Like @dodgy-keeper said, hopefully this means Woodward gets off his ass and we sign a defender or two and Vidal.

Reports in Italy that outstanding Roma defender Mehdi Benatia is en route to Manchester for signing talks with United.

Blind should be at mufc by the end of next week.

Ashley young shitted on in the mouth

This is not a quick fix though, United are still a couple of quality midfielders and a couple of defenders away from competing for trophies.

I’d expect Blind next week and another who can cover at full back/wing back. Outside chance of Vidal, def one midfielder with Strootman (depending on his fitness) to follow in January.

The players have to get over the pressure of playing at Old Trafford as much as anything else. To have the best away form last season in the league shows they have the ability. The defence has to be addressed though. To lose Vidic, Ferdinand and Evra and only have brought in Shaw is shortsighted. Rojo and Blind would be a start. Vidal is a pipe dream. Cant see him giving up Champions league for a fight to get 4th this season.
