Gundogan has been better than Sahin IMO. He took some time to get fit enough but when he hit form so did Borussia. Just a question of whether he recovers from his injuries or not. In an ideal world Dortmund wouldn’t want to sell but United can afford to pay big money for an injury risk because of their financial strength.
Anyway he confirmed today he won’t be signing a new deal with Dortmund. He still has a year to go so that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll go this summer.
