Manchester United 2022/23 - The Reign of ETH

Bill would half heartedly try to come in but once Eamon told him to ā€˜stay out of it, theres football people talking hereā€™, he shut up.

Kelly Cates and David Jones are excellent at just staying quiet.

Johnny Giles used to puke in his mouth whenever bill chimed in with an opinion. Bill, Bill, you donā€™t know what youā€™re talking aboutā€¦ ok so and a big happy head on Bill

That used to be an entertaining listen on a Saturday evening. A platform for Paddy Footix to voice his views.

On a separate note, I caught the end of this match tonight and was surprised by Casemiroā€™s passion after his equaliser. I like a lot of lads on here assumed he was winding down his career and looking for one last pay cheque. Madness that they didnā€™t start him away to Man City.

Ye were told about Casemiro ye cunts.

No shut off valve installed.

I was jumping around the living room after he scored. You could see what it meant to him. Savage intensity.

I thought it was fairly clear. Keane reckoned Ronaldo was justified in feeling aggrieved, but wrong to behave the way he did.

He had the right cocked there after a few minutes, Iā€™d say if Jimmy Floyd put hands on Roy a couple more times he was getting chinned

Jimmy Floyd was like Donny in The Big Lebowski.

Keane was spot on. Ten Haag left him on the bench vs City out of respect for his career. His own words, then tries to bring him on for two minutes. Heā€™s clearly trying to disrespect him.

He was doing everything he could to avoid criticising him for what he did though. Even though heā€™d lambaste the likes of Pogba if he did the same. Keane and Ronaldo have one thing in common. an absolutely single minded desire to be the best that made them get the very most out of themselves at their peaks and drove them far beyond what they should have achieved. It also meant they canā€™t just bow out gracefully when itā€™s over like normal people. Suppose that was probably his point really.

Its simple really. Keane respects Ronaldo and still thinks he has something to offer United and didnt agree with Nevilles clutching at pearls and saying get rid for a one off thing. Fine him. Move on.

He had fuck all respect for Pogba because he thought he had nothing to offer United and he was right about him from day one as was Ferguson when he binned him as a youth

Neville and JFH were saying to get rid and Keane wasnā€™t having it

Yeah the crux of it really is should Ronaldo be starting and is the team better with him in it. I think 95pc of people agree they are better off without him if he gets pissed off and has a bad attitude around the place if heā€™s not starting every game or gets taken off. The suspicion is Keane and Ferdinand and the lads are only saying that because they are delighted to be friends with one of the all time greats and donā€™t want to fall out with him.
How did other greats of the game finish off their careers I wonder?

Keane is like a lad who hasnt slept for a few weeks, 'cos his child is teething, and heā€™s ready to take his frustration out on the first gimp who crosses him whether heā€™s right or wrong.

They go to scotland to havr their lives ruined by sporran makers.

I bet you Ronaldo works harder than any of them in training and is good around the place as an example. Look at the condition of him at 38.

Iā€™d start Ronaldo over Sancho or Rashford every day of the week and tell the other cunts to run for him.

Sancho has a bad attitude. The bare minimum on the pitch. Fuck all guts.

Is bang on. Sancho over Ronaldo is ridiculous.

It varies.
Pele went to the New York Cosmos and was a sensation. He won the Soccer Bowl.
Bobby Charlton played a couple of games for Waterford FC.
Georgie Best played for Cork City.
Maradona disgraced himself at a World Cup.
Messi is dialing it in in the French leagues.
Keane had his life ruined by sporran makers in the Scottish leagues.

Ronaldo will get 5 or 6 goals at the World Cup.
