A very odd decision to create a walk out jacket no? A money making exercise from Jim?

Crafton is always trying to stir up trouble.

A few players have rejected the rainbow initiative. If clubs and football as a whole want to support lgbt rights that’s fine. But it shouldn’t be forced on individuals. Neither should the poppy or any emblem. I support Maza.

It’s hardly that earth shattering that a devout Muslim isn’t a fan of LGBTQ stuff

Plenty tickets available for the game on Saturday.

A few other Muslims have rejected it also… thats a seperate discussion really.
I dont think anything should be pushed on players.

Was the same player in bother because he dared express support for Palestine? It cant work all one way.

It’s not separate really. Muslims hate gay people and treat them like dirt. But they’re excused this for some reason.

That said I don’t think any player should be forced to wear anything.

Agreed but one player’s refusal shouldn’t mean the rest don’t bother. The Ipswich lad should have had the captaincy taken off him.

Come on you Red Devils.

Manchester United were never afraid of Arsenal.

A real chance for the Red Devils to be relevant in the title race.

This is corporatism dictating what is politically appropriate to think. If a player wore a Palestinian armband they would be fined or if not a top top assest potentially sold.

Obviously i dont agree with the Muslim stance on the gays. But individual rights are also important.

He should have the captaincy taken off him because of his religious beliefs?

Well this is the issue with trying to be inclusive. You’re trying to include everyone and everyone won’t believe in inclusivity itself

Trying to be inclusive by giving you a list of do and donts.

Why were the club trying to make them wear these jackets?

Yes. If his beliefs and opinions are at odds with what his employers and colleagues then he shouldn’t be captain. If the club and players are homophobic like him and his religion then he’s the perfect captain.

You must be an incredible employee.

Incredibly underrated.
