Michael Keane was outstanding. He didn’t much protesting when his team mate got sent off either.
Cunha and Sesko along with Bryan were occupying defences enough that they were half getting away with it. Diallo isn’t really producing enough for the minutes he gets, aesthetically nice but so what. If the system is a given. Bruno should’ve gone into the forwards tonight and Mainoo played midfield. Mainoo is the only one that can save this team.

I’d love to see him and Mainoo together in central midfield. Diallo actually always was a central player. He has just been shoehorned onto the wing because he’s slight. There’ll be dogs like Dalot and Maz plus 3 centrebacks behind them. They’re both so comfortable on the ball, they should try it. PSG do it with Vitinha and Joao Neves.

I got pelters for identifying that here last January after the Liverpool v Man Utd match. A great bit of go in him but not all that much end product at the back of it all. He’d remind you of Chio Ogbene in that he passes the eye test but can’t translate it to goals and assist at the top club level. Is he a RWB, a RM or a RW?

That could be curtins for Zirkzee now. He didn’t do much wrong on the headers. He just doesn’t do enough, lacks the athleticism. I think they win that with Cunha up front, even Sesko.
I think if he’s to make a top player he’ll have to go central. He doesn’t have the frame or pace to beat a man on the outside, the good defenders know he has to cut in.
You’ll stick anyone in midfield except actual midfielders
