Why is one linesman in this game, in the half Manchester United are attacking, putting his flag up instantly & stopping the game? I thought it’s common practice to let the play develop now & only flag at the end of the phase of play. There’s been three instances where Manchester United attacks have been abruptly ended when the attacker looked level because the linesman raised the flag.
