Only a handful of managers have won more European cups. And few if any of them have won a European trophy with a team as small as Aberdeen or European cups with more or less two different sets of players. Also taking into account how shit his club were before he joined and after he left.
You could list reasons out all day really.

The greatest manager of all time and it’s not even a conversation. I’m not one for mufc tinted glasses either. Good doc on him last night. Obviously a fair bit of a cunt too but who isn’t and it’s obviously an essential requirement to achieve that much over that length of time.

When you think of the money he had and his dominance of PL meant he was in Europe nearly every year, it’s a real jot on his copy book.

Pep is handy but the gradient of the hill, the wind speed and his mode of transport have to be taken into account. Others have won with all peps teams/clubs too. Ferguson built his from scratch and neither club won a sausage after him.
