Manchester United 2025/26

In fairness to the boss he recognised Scholes didn’t cut it at the top level and brought in Veron in order to improve in Europe

I don’t think scholes ever really recovered after it. Did he ever end up doing anything in the rest of his career?

Retired from international football as he couldn’t hack it. Plodded along at club level for a while surrounded by top talent

Nicky Butt probably as good as him but wasn’t a pet of the boss.

Named in the team of the 2002 World Cup, only problem is Djemba Djemba probably was as well.

No minutes for Rasmus in the game vs Fiorentina so it looks like he’ll be leaving most likely on a loan deal.

If they sold for 30m now they’d take a bit of about 13m for the PSR.

If there’s a loan fee with wages covered and the buy option was triggered next year assuming the option was £35m they’d lose about £9m now but make a £7m profit next summer.

A loan would be better for PSR but doesn’t help with the cash flow…

Won 6 leagues and a champions league during his plodding phase.

Farmers league

Never understood that statement.

No need to loan hojlund we’ll need him

For what? I suppose someone has to dish the spuds out.

Theyve fired everyone else.

Hojlund now off it seems. I’m not so sure on this. I’d say if Hojlund was in the farmers league last year he’d have done better than sesko.

Fair enough the club are struggling financially but I don’t see why they don’t keep both Hojlund and sesko to play up top.

Are they keeping that lad the Yanited fans were booing? Zirkzee?

I suppose he’d be seen as a bit different whereas Hojlund and Sesko are similar. Sesko being the souped up version. Hojlund makes super runs but his first touch and the selfishness of teammates has fucked him.

He can hopefully physically dominate defenders where he goes and United can get a good fee.

Wouldn’t mind seeing him somewhere mid table in the Premier League to see what he can actually do though

Sure wasn’t he already at a mid table club?

Shit, you’re right. An upper mid table club maybe.
