Manchester United 21/22

That’s an excellent comparison

In the games that he has been given a chance he has just drifted around, not imposing himself on the game. There seems to be something lacking the same way that Mkhitaryan was unable to make a difference in most games that he played.

At least McTominay seems to be able to make an impact when he is fit.

Klopp has an identity as a manager and his own style, which is unique to him and his teams. He imposes himself on a club, he has the character to do it. He changes the club to play his way. Guardiola is the same. He has the character and belief in his style and identity like Jurgen to carry it off, he is able to communicate it to the players with absolute certainly, play my way, and you’ll win. Players improve under their coaching because there is no uncertainty, confidence from top to bottom in what they are doing and the gravitas to communicate it simply and effectively.

Ole doesn’t have that, and that’s no slight, very few do. Tuchel seems to. Outside of that you’d struggle to find another one in the Premier league

Disagree completely.

They bought Ronaldo to sell shirts. Ridiculous decision.

They wouldn’t touch him for the money quoted.

Not a chance

The Irish Examiner have the inside scoop that the United hierarchy want a British manager like Rodgers as the Italians are too high maintenance

Rodgers was happy to point out what Ole was doing wrong after he played United.

Would Brendan Rodgers be perceived as Liverpool’s “sloppy seconds”? Would the “United” faithful want a man who wasn’t quite in that upper echelon whilst managing their greatest rivals?

Foreign managers just haven’t worked out at Man U. Does seem sensible to look for a British manager next time.

You’d be worried if he has the minerals for the job. Almost came across as insecure. He wouldn’t like the shadow of Ronaldo and Ferguson in the background.

Frank Lampard is the man for the job…

Give it Wazza til end of season

United simply want a British manager who’s a little unheralded who’ll help them win 10-12 titles over the next 15 years.

The drama queens that were calling for Coach Ole to be sacked will be looking very silly tonight when they get the expected win at White Hart Lane. With Citeh losing at home to Crystal Palace and the 0-5 heroes drawing at home to Brighton and Hove Albion, Coach Ole will be right back in title contention.

United already improved on where they were last week.
