If a guardiola team has a lead then the match is done as a spectacle
Donny handing out the subs jersey there, after Ole let him have a little jog up the sideline. Nice to see him being involved.
Gary Neville has been completely wrong in in his immediate post-half-time analysis.
He predicted that United’s tactical change would see City either kick on and rip United to pieces like Liverpool did or United would come back. But that the first half pattern would not continue and things not stay at 2-0.
The first half pattern has continued in a very boring fashion and both teams seem happy with the scoreline.
This is absolutely terrible.
A United goal here is needed to make this bearable
Both teams happy to keep the score the same I think. From Pep and everyone else’s point of view it Keeps Ole in a job. From Oles point of view it keeps Ole in a job…
Here comes Manchester United’s Andy Reid/Wes Hoolahan.
Coach Ole has stabilised things in the second half. United could Nick a second 45 minutes win here you feel.
Utd fans starting to turn on Fred and Wan Bissaka
Van de Beek almost creates a goal within seconds of his introduction.
Donny makes an immediate impact.
Lindelof more worried about having his arms behind his back than actually making a block
A least he tried to play a forward pass
You’d see better forward passes in the rugby at Lansdowne Road today.
Missed the game up to last ten minutes or so but how come United made the four subs? Was there a head injury?
Yeah Luke Shaw
Ah poor Shawsie. Extra chips with the lasagne will make everything ok
Even when Liverpool were at a low ebb they always raised their game for a clash with one of the top teams at Anfield and often turned them over. The 2-0 win over reigning champions Chelsea in the Roy Hodgson era probably a prime example of that. Very meek home performances from Man Utd recently. Going down without a whimper.
Foden is a lovely bit of stuff
Fucking city are killing my -2 here.
