Manchester United FC 2013/14

Moyes nominated for manager of the month for Decemeber

I would be very surprised if Moyes is sacked this season. They banged on so much about how they were so great for giving Ferguson time, it would be strange if they didn’t offer the same to Moyes.

Surely as different as apples and oranges, Ferguson wasnt handed a title winning side and backroom team. But I agree with the essence of you point, Moyes simply must stay. He is the chosen one.

It’s a different environment to 1986 though

Oh I know and I am not expecting them to give Moyes 4 years before he wins a trophy. But a lot was made of the good idea to show loyalty to Ferguson so I don’t think they’ll give Moyes the boot in his first season.

He won’t get a third season though.

Moyes will be sacked some time between November 2014 and January 2015.

Agreed. I think he will be given until Christmas next season.

He is nominated for manager of the month.

I reckon they lose on Saturday and he is gone.

I’d say he’ll get until Christmas (barring a complete disaster this season). If things aren’t looking up by then they’ll show him the door.

He doesn’t have the tactical knowledge to be the manager of a top club and I think he’ll be gone before the end of next season

They gave Moyes the job and a six year contract in what was always going to be a poisoned chalice. I personally don’t think he is up to it but they should at least give him a chance to rebuild the team and replace the older lads like Ferdinand,Vidic, Giggs, Evra and put his stamp on it. This summers transfer window will make or break him

More importantly, we need to use the January window to strengthen. Pick up Fabregas for €25m and maybe push the boat out with a €50m bid for Ronaldo. If there is still €40m or so left over, we could go in for Baines then.

Where did you get those figures out of? Ronaldo at least 80 million, Fabregas at least 40 million and Baines about 15 million

Are you drunk?

Job done. Simples.

It’s almost as if I was taking the piss.

You must be fucking joking, none of them would move to United in their current state.

Nearly as funny as the fellaini saga. Well done @braz83 at least some of the fans still have a sense of humour

Think Robbie Savage calls the cull needed at United spot on there.
