Agree, but there you go. He will get the small matter of an eight figure blow softener if he gets the boot I’d imagine.
Nothing to do with instant gratification whatsoever. If there was some semblance of a plan, organisation or a sense that things were improving I’d back him all the way. If he had a track record of turning clubs around and getting them playing good football he’d have my full approval.
Bit rich of you @Sidney, as a Liverpool fan, talking about loyalty, respect, courtesy and trust in a manager considering the way Roy Hodgson was hounded out. Like Moyes, he too was out of his depth at the time, I will admit.

This is very funny. Implying that a poster on here ‘hounded’ out the manager of professional football franchise in the North West of England. Not only that but this hounding out of Woy pwevents the poster from having an opinion on the current situation at Manchester United.
Was it for this?

Never mind that.
He references Sidney when addressing Manuel Zelaya

You’re getting very confused now. Why would I support Liverpool? I support my home town team Preston North End. Moysie still a god and the chosen one in that particular corner of Lancashire.
You clearly don’t get one of the first principles of sport, all empires ultimately crumble. In this case, the Emperor was ultimately cute enough to get out as the foundations were crumbling.
He’s still there.

@Manuel Zelaya , you aren’t by any chance related to a football agent in Manchester are you?
He’s about to get the boot, feel a bit sorry for him (a nice, decent man) but the job was just too big for him. Just not cut out to manage Manchester United.
No fucking about with his replacement, get a proven winner in who has the balls, bottle and brass neck needed at Old Trafford.
Too many inept performances. Fans and players alike have no faith in him. Had to go. Right decision. United need to move quickly and confirm this, Moyes at least deserves respect.
Job was ultimately too big for him. He needed to take the shackles off and go for games but fell back to his mantra of “not lose first”. Yesterday had to hit home the differences between sides and effect Moyes has had on both by being there and not being there.

The problem still remains, pal. Will the board sanction 100/120m transfer kitty? They wouldn’t back Moyes last summer. A back 4, two midfielders and a striker needed… Players out tho should raise 20/30m.
In Moyes defence, the cock-up last summer was as much to do with Woodward as the manager. There was the embarrassing public pursuit of Fabregas when it was obvious he didn’t want to leave. In the end forked out almost £30m on Fellaini in a desperate panic buy.
The squad is full of league champions, Mata (who has won the European Cup), Januzaj and that fraud Fellaini. The squad is weak in places and needs reinfocrement but the bones of a decent team is there. Van Persie, Rooney, Mata, Kagawa, Januzaj - any time with that firepower should be competing for top four minimum, not playing abysmally in seventh and 23 points behind a side you finished 28 points above a year ago.
You forgot “Something’s Got Me Started” by Simply Red.
Probably get Giggs in for the rest of the season. Would buy a few weeks to sort out a permanent replacement.
Can’t see Klopp leaving Dortmund, would love to see Mourinho but that ship may have sailed, Van Gaal has been linked but he has history for falling out with nearly every dressing room he manages.
Ancelotti if he gets the boot from Madrid, perhaps…?
First Donal O’Grady and now David Moyes - the two biggest jobs in world sport.

Probably the only thing Manchester United will be buying this summer given the incompetence of your board.
Billy Davis is available
In Moyes defence, the cock-up last summer was as much to do with Woodward as the manager.
The biggest cock-up Manchester United made last summer was their failure to appoint Jose Mourinho, and allowing old Whisky Face Ferguson to appoint their new manager.
A monumental cock-up. He was gagging for the job too. Blundered post Busby and history repeated itself last summer.
