Fuck no, this thread has to stay at the top of the forum, its an imperative.
I don’t see him going after a striker, he has always gone with the one up top. At the moment he has Van Persie, Rooney, Hernandez and Welbeck - I think Rooney and Hernandez may leave. He’s also got youngsters like Wilson who can provide backup and Van Gaal is very much someone who gives youth a chance.
Rooney would only be allowed to leave if another marquee Nike-backed player comes in. That’s why he’s on the big bucks.
So van Gaal will have to stop feeling up Robben then under the table?

Van Gaal will be fresh from managing a team of assholes in the World Cup which might help his perceptions of Rooney.

If there was some semblance of a plan, organisation or a sense that things were improving I’d back him all the way. If he had a track record of turning clubs around and getting them playing good football he’d have my full approval.
Bit rich of you @Sidney , as a Liverpool fan, talking about loyalty, respect, courtesy and trust in a manager considering the way Roy Hodgson was hounded out. Like Moyes, he too was out of his depth at the time, I will admit.[/QUOTE]
You’re getting very confused now. Why would I support Liverpool? I support my home town team Preston North End. Moysie still a god and the chosen one in that particular corner of Lancashire.
You clearly don’t get one of the first principles of sport, all empires ultimately crumble. In this case, the Emperor was ultimately cute enough to get out as the foundations were crumbling.
Here, FAO of @Nembo_Kid
This spoofer @Manuel_Zelaya / @GeoffreyBoycott is meant to be a Spurs fan, isn’t he?
Here he is claiming to be a Preston fan, however.
He’s a charlatan, a bluffer.

Yeah, I keep an eye out for Preston in the lower leagues. Lived there for a while when I was kid went to school there for a year and still have relations there.
I know of @Nembo_Kid supporting at least four teams currently - Chelsea, Roma, Celtic and Monaco.

Huh??? that’s a different poster. Next you’ll be claiming that @Nembo_Kid @Il_Bomber_Destro & @Rudi are one and the same
Boycott admitted this morning that he is Manuel Zelaya.
I’m not Bomber or Rudi, for clarification, though I am a big fan of their postings.

You could see where one might make that mistake though
