Man Utd were a shambles in the late 1980s - a chancer called Michael Knighton near bought the club .
The team was poor and the stadium needed huge investment . Then capitalism made the club - a public floating and Sky taking over the televising the league brought the club to another level . Good luck to them .
The capitalism eco system that made the club thrive then followed its logical conclusion with a leveraged take over.
That is the reality of this .
