All banter aside surely united should 100pc be doing everything they can to make sure Liverpool arenât in the champions league and vice versa. If an opportunity presents itself like this (they donât need the points, they have legitimate reasons for resting players) they have to do everything they can bar the players in the game not actually trying to knock Liverpool out.

They could still technically win the league prior to kick off . Liverpool to be fair won games when Man U were beneficiaries over the years .
That said Liverpool canât really complain as they pissed on their own chips .
Technically shmecnically
Very tough ask for United to bounce back in just 48 hours to face recent champions Liverpool. Ex forumite and recovery expert Kev has left us in no doubt that mentally United face a near impossible task.
Itâs a sign of a small club. Which is what they are now. Man United fans protesting against their owners singing about Scousers sums them up.
A night of ignominy and shame where they hand the title to their bigger Neighbours.

It was the loutish behaviour of their scummy fans last Sunday week that caused the fixture congestion which forced Coach Ole to field a weakened team tonight. Those yobs may well have cost their team the title. Citeh have been faltering badly in recent weeks and may well have been on the cusp of a full scale collapse.
