Manchester United Football Club Thread 2019/20

And don’t forget this is a very weak era for the league.

Liverpool finished second to City in 13/14. They then went 6th and sacked Rogers.

Klopp went 8th in his first season but got them to two cup finals (took over in October)
Then 4th and a champions league semi final
Then 4th and a champions league final
then 2nd and a champions league winners medal
Now 1st and could be any amount of trophies

Weren’t Liverpool lucky they aren’t a sacking club

But but but but but

They sacked Rodgers after getting within a whisker of winning the league.

Fergie filled in his togs in Europe. He filled his togs in 91/92 when Leeds put it up to him.

Odd Liverpool fans @mikehunt and @anon61878697 were desperately comparing Klopp to sir Alex earlier then.

I still think he was the best manager the league has seen to date, but he wasn’t without his faults mate

Ye are seething.

Far from it. We can see the perch again and the view is glorious

Ferguson was so embedded in United, so autocratic in his nature and has such a big ego, his shadow will loom over every manager that comes in until he’s long gone.

Much the same as Shankly at Liverpool.

Only difference is Liverpool had three successful managers in a row after Shankly

I’m heading out it isn’t as fun when mike Hunt isn’t involved.

Log off for a while

I fucking meant Dalglish… ah bollocks…
You’d Fagan and Paisley.

Was it true that Shankly used to turn up for training even after he was gone as manager though?

Are you always this simple or what’s the story?

It’s hilarious how much of a butt-hurt United fan you are :joy:

I support man united. I don’t understand why Liverpool fans obsess over man united so much.

This melt down is fascinating to watch
