I donāt think you could be more wrong on the second part. Man united fans do not want these signings. What always worked for United was bringing through young players and signing young players with an upside. The last great United team was built around rio, evra, Ronaldo, Rooney and vidic who all signed before they were classed as world class or a glacitcio. They mixed in with the likes of giggs, schooles etc.

Rio was the worlds most expensive centre half at the time Iām pretty sure. Rooney was the most expensive teenager ever. Not great examples
They werenāt galacticos though. They were signed when they had a clear upside. Not only on the field where it made total sense to sign them but also in a business sense. No matter how bad they would turn out to be theyād have some sort of resale value. Their wages were in keeping with a structure. Sanchez and falcao had little upside. They were short term options at ridiculously high costs. De gea is another example. There are countless. Hopefully big rom and Sanchez are gone soon. Hererra is off too and mata should not be given a new contract. Iād be very surprised if united arenāt third next season. Theyāll need 3 windows to challenge city again at least.
Double Glazing?
A will you stop, heās cat
Expectations lowered downwards from champions to third. Whatās happened in the last three and a half weeks to bring about this u turn?
Bad batch of coke
Percentage of turnover spent on footballers in the last 3 seasons -

Chelsea 46%
Manchester City 43%
Tottenham 22%
Manchester United 19%
Congratulations mate, another wonderful win. Football clubs spending money on players, whodathunkit.
Does that include sales?
Yes.
you gotta link for that?
Manchester United proving that when you have a famed youth academy that produces top quality youngsters like Paul Pogba, you donāt have to spend big money on players, you just grow them yourself
What a club
They were and still are years ahead of every other club in terms of attendances and commercial income.
Is that fees and wages @anon32894817?
They are years ahead of other clubs in terms of attendances alright
Very few kids support them these days
Do the fans want the Glazers out ?
Appear to be pulling out of the deal for the crystal palace right back
Spending 46% of total revenue on transfer fees alone is not conducive to posting record profits for a football club which Liverpool achieved in their latest financials.
Throw up an old link there.
