Robertson cost a fortune though didn’t he? I know he was signed cos of potential but still, he was a risky outlay when compared to many other starting left backs like Shaw, Zincenko, Ake etc.
Was essentially signed for no fee in a swap deal with Kevin Stewart. €8 million. Some bargain.

That’s a bit unfair on big Kev Stewart. He did well at Hull before going onto Blackpool for a while. He’s out of contract now but still only 30 so perhaps a bit young for the Yanited midfield
