Manchester Utd 2023/24 (Part 1)

That eejit Gary Neville saying it would be an absolute nonsense to sack Ten Hag.

He seems to be pointing towards problems higher up causing everything.

Yet, I cannot think of a single United player who has improved under Ten Hag. That has nothing to do with ‘upstairs’, that is working with professional footballers behind the scenes to get the best out of them.

Management you could call it.

Really? Rashford had his best season ever last season under him having been shit the year before. Dalot too.

If DeZerbi is gettable, you’d pull the trigger

Very true, and injuries have probably compounded that. United are a nightmare to play withfor that kind of technical centre forward though too.

Martial to Spurs? Go away out of that.

How is Rashford doing now?

Two of the better performers he wanted to sell in the summer - McTominay and Maguire.

So he has also improved maguire and mctominay then? Great.

Dan likes a deal

Look. You were talking bollox. United were decent under him last year. Not brilliant or the finished article by any means. But they came third and won a cup.he improved rashford to a level beyond what rashford had ever shown. I understand you hate united but you’re a fool if you think eth had nothing to do with uniteds improvement last year.

Anthony was his major signing. He’s been absolutely diabolical. Has he addressed any of the issues that were there under ogs. United finished 2nd and lost a European final in OGS last full season. Ragnick was a disaster.

He fucked off De Gea cause he couldn’t play out and look how that’s working

Poor reflection on Man u if they ditch ETH, one would imagine nothing will be done until the new owners are in situ.

Fans wanted Fergie’s head but he was given time. United is being run as a commercial enterprise of late and not like a football Club, money that is needed for infrastructure and facilities is instead being paid out on inflated prices for players.

But that improvement has long gone. United have been horrific this season and any positives that may have been there have completely vanished.

He has been but the club are at fault there. No decently run operation would have coughed up the amount paid

Thats a different argument. His signings have been very inconsistent. Antony is dogshit and getting worse. He actually used to work hard and get through decent graft while occasiinally contributing.
Mount was very obviously a shit target. We didnt need him and he has brought nothing to the team at any stage. Martinez malacia casemiro and eriksen were all good signings in that they all played well/very well and added to the team.

This season has been shit, but hes had to deal with greenwood, antony, sancho and an on off takeover in the club. It would be stupid to sack him imo, but there are things happening on the pitch that are extremely worrying and bode very badly. Chiefly, players yet again looking like they dont give a fuck…

Mount was a bizarre signing. They were certainly making progress last year and needed a few dogs and a scorer.

But he’s the manager - his bread and butter is to deal with these situations.

Good observation.

Rashford is completely spineless if he had anything about him he’d of taken the captaincy as the home town player but he didn’t have the bolox.
