Only man to manage both Manchester Clubs

Magnifies how good a job Ten Hag is doing and showcases that Fergie won a hape of handy leagues when the standard was lower. You wouldn’t get within an arses roar of Pep and City with a 59% win rate.

It was a much lower standard & it was proven when they headed into Europe

It was a very poor standard back then.

Hard for the English clubs to be good in Europe after the murderpool fans got everyone banned.

Eh? This is the 90s bud

Jurgen Klopp already has 3 points tallies higher than Fergie’s all-time highest of 91 points.

ferguson let Blackburn win a league, that should be the bar against which he is measured.

Does that not mean the standard is worse in general? Or that the big teams are more dominant due to money etc

Yep. They are desperately trying to paper over Klopps poor record.

Is there a trophy for that?

Standard is far higher now. Your run of the mill Premier League team has better finances than top continental clubs these days. The likes of a Brighton or West Ham would be on a par with Roma, Lazio or AC Milan nowadays. The Premier League now attracts the best players and managers. Even in the lower echelons of the division.
