Bringing him back would be an incredibly stupid decision never mind how wrong it would be morally. He’s not even near being guaranteed to be any good even if he comes back. He scored 20 goals in 80 games. He looked to have great potential but hardly some guaranteed superstar.
Ronaldo had 20 in 120 in his first 3 seasons at United if you’re using goals as a barometer. 20 in 80 is an exceptional return for a lad of his age

I don’t really understand why Greenwood himself would want to play in England. The reaction to him at away ganes will be viscous and he will get dog’s abuse at every game and that probably wouldn’t go away for a couple of seasons.

If you look at greenwoods tallies he was actually disimproving as time went on. He was in and out of the team. I stand by what I said he was a potentially brilliant player but there have been plenty of them who haven’t turned out as good as they looked. And after two years out and with the pressure of being one of the most hated and controversial men in Britain I’d say he might be a little bit of a risk.
