Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane Backers

Is it a Scouser Walters is?

Fair point, Walters is a top bloke Iā€™d say.
As a player he is not fit to lace Keaneā€™s boots but heā€™s never been wanting for effort or commitment.

Walters has been a bigger player for Ireland than Roy Keane was.

Aye, apparently Real Madrid were in for him

ā€œFor Irelandā€

Real send scouts to all Ireland matches

Our man Justin Edinburgh put Keane well and truly back in his box when Spurs beat Notts Forest in the 1991 Cup Final. Keane was still so rattled over it 20 years on, he issued an edict when he was manager of Ipswich that they werenā€™t to deal with the Justin Edinburgh managed Rushden & Diamonds. There had been a bit of crossover between the clubs over the years with loan players prior to Keane taking over.

Still and all itā€™s a strange assertion to make. What is your definition of a ā€˜biggerā€™ player?

I donā€™t know. It wasnā€™t my comment. I was young enough in the 90ā€™s so canā€™t comment on its validity

Lads losing their minds over Keane telling a few home truths.

Apologies, I thought it was yours, either way itā€™s an odd one but a few lads have endorsed it, Jon Walters was a bigger player for Ireland than Roy Keane

Players are soft, sad to see but I guess thatā€™s the way itā€™s gone now

That prick TOD putting the boot in now on the 9 o clock news, what a despicable bastard he is.

Games goneā€¦

ā€˜Tis man, tis.

Keane is spot on here. Lads with a professional contract donā€™t want to know anymore and make the effort to win a trophy or improve.

Ward was just talking to mates and someone let him down.
