Match of the Day

Why do they insist on boiling everything down to refereeing decisions?

They’re making a big deal of Mourinho not commenting on the refereeing decisions, while hyping them up themselves. Penalty was a stonewaller. Red card was probably right, certainly not palpably wrong.

It’s fairly typical of Match of the Day unfortunately. Fuck all tactical analysis (apart from the odd graphic) but they’ll talk all night about offsides, penalties, cards and get plenty of it wrong anyway.

Why isn’t The Championship show on BBC anymore? Can we get Channel 5 on Sky Ireland?

Bad luck Norwich. Should have had the equalizer.

Add it via Other Channels.

The show sounds horrific from what I’ve read. It sounds like Soccer PM.

It’s great to have it back all the same pal.

Nice finish from Delaney.

If you’ve Sky pal, go up to options on the menu and then other channels.

It should be there along with ITV without having to tune it in manually.

Turns out its in my Other Channels. Thanks @Rocko and @The_Most_Infamous. Why was it moved to Channel 5? Can’t have been worth that much money?

I think it was as much about Channel 5 committing to showing the games at 9pm. BBC had it on very late.

Tiger Tim is captivating.

Watching on delay. Alan Pardew was beautifully humble there in his interview.

Bizarre segment on Match of the Day tonight when Danny Murphy was arguing players shouldn’t be carded late in a game because they will get suspensions. Mané had 2 really poor challenges and shouldn’t have been sent off according to Danny. He wants a bit more “common sense.” Idiot.

I don’t think anyone would argue with that

Lovely wind up question by the Irish chap interviewing Mourinho after Manchester United Nil v West Bromwich Albion today.

“Jose, did the two teams cancel each other out today?”

I believe that was Limerick native (and Liverpool fan) Conor McNamara that asked that

Motd2 put back by an hour on BBCNI because of some cunts racing motor bikes around farm lanes. Catch it on BBC London on the other channels on sky.

BBC 1 HD an option?
