Matters regarding Limerick, Limerick Pubs, No Culture allowed

She wasn’t long losing the Limerick accent when she went off abroad to the states.

Not locals I reckon.

Iron Mike’s day will come.

This may or may not be relevant, but she is married to quite a large man. My mate met him in a bar in New York last year, ended up drinking with him for the night when the guy found out he was from the same place as his wife.

Or it might have been Boston.

The four elms and the stroller must be in complete shock at this news.

Is the Cat’s Cradle still open?

I’ve never been in there pal. being in the other two a few times alright.

The Weigh Inn used to be a decent spot a few years back out in that general direction, went to shite fast though.

Back in the early to mid 90s, Abbeyfeale had the highest amount of pubs in the country, relevant to it’s population. There was 20 odd pubs in the town at one stage.

At one time Listowel had 52 pubs

How many now?

More good news for Limerick

Caviat though chief. Didnt they lay off a hape after the takeover of 02 though

Still better then people being let go pal regardless of the quality of the positions. The technological park in Castletroy seems to be flying it at the moment.

It was very bleak a few years ago when Dell let 1900 go, the tide is definitely turning now.

Stryker and Analog are holding their own in Raheen, Dell are actually hiring a few out there now as well.

Often thought about moving back. Dont think the boss would though. Still though. Im only a straight hour from the technology park living where I am. Might take a look in the new year
