Adare is an absolute nightmare, should have been bypassed years ago. Probably the worst bottle neck at peak time in Ireland, along with Claregalway. The local traders blocked the original bypass going ahead around 25 years ago due to their own greed and self interests, the fuckers are screaming for the road to be built now.

There are also plans in the pipeline too for upgrading the road from between Murphy’s Cross (on the Croagh side) and the Adare Boys National School in the village which would mean there would only be one lane of traffic open for a few months. It would create even more traffic chaos.

I would think the vast majority would, yes.

They’ll still get the bus tours so would still be quids in even after the road would be built.

Friday evenings in particular are an absolute disaster.
