I spotted Joe Canning hanging around in short pants outside his new venture on the Dublin road today, looked to be very nearly ready to open. Camile thai, they have a couple of places in Dublin I believe, is it any good?
Iâve gotten food from the one in rathmines a few times and I found it to be lovely.

Theyâve around 10 places between here and UK. The law who started OâBriens is involved. Fairly meh the one time I tried it.
Itâs in a strange spot there alongside TKMaxx, awkward enough to get to if you want to pick up a takeaway, they seem to be angling towards the healthy eating market. Iâll chance their Tom yum soup anyway whenever I get a chance.
I had a very nice panyang chicken curry from the King Thai stall at the river market. Very tasty. They do lovely grub. Have possibly replaced Aroi as my favourite.

I canât see this failing. 
There was maybe one Thai restaurant in Limerick five years ago and now Joe has opened what, the tenth? Theyâve sprung up everywhere. The market is totally saturated and thereâs a top class one three long pucks of a sliotar from where Joe has opened one (in a bad location i might add IMO).
Itâs like the Celtic tiger years again where every dope was developing houses in this property bubble. Now we have every dope opening Thai restaurants in a restaurant bubble. Joe, you need to get to the front of these things. I have a fear he is far too late to the party and this will end in a financial loss. But hey maybe the banks will write off all the debts for these failed restaurants.

Is Nevilles opened again? When your man of the Kellys had it, the grub wasnât too bad but the beer was shit and the place was inhabited by wannabee Adare types, you know the sort, not living in Adare but wanting to have an Adare address. Insufferable cunts.
