Gerry thought he was a big shot because he wrote a few books - the youngsters and academics alike were not long bringing him to heel through their indifference.
I’d say he’s around 57/58 — tbf he has done some very interesting research on the advent of radio in Ireland and some of it’s early pioneers…Not sure if that’s the direction he is taking with his latest venture tho.

Is Joe Giltinane anything to the crowd who’ve the garden centre etc in Croagh? They seem to have decent business heads. Would any of our west Limerick correspondents (cc @TreatyStones @Julio_Geordio) know?
Perhaps.
There is a cousin of the Giltinanes in Croagh who played/plays for Mungret, so it’s a possibility. @ciarancareyshurlingarmy might know better.
