He may have some shellac records as well as vinyl records so I’ll stick with records. I’ve never gone to a vinyl store but I’ve been to plenty of record stores.

I’ve inherited two stacks of shellac records and a wind up record player to play them on. Technically my good record player could play them as it has a 78 speed setting but the shellac would absolutely destroy the stylus.
