Matters Regarding Limerick šŸ™ļø

Iā€™m not surprised @Julio_Geordio.
But I was talking about the castle.

Even back then the workforce was ageing. Not that thereā€™s anything wrong with that but they needed to freshen it up a bit.

There is. Technically it would it would fall within the St Kierans parish boundary.

Big portions, okay food. Itā€™s what the people want

The Castle is in the best nick itā€™s been in a long time. The board of works are inside there with 15 years now and theyā€™ve laid about 5 stones on top of each other since.

Limerick, stay tuned šŸ‡³šŸ‡¬ #comingsoon

The last 20 years over 2,000 pubs have closed in Ireland in what has been two bleak decades for the industry. With this in mind the rare re-opening of venues is always a very welcome announcement and that is the case with the Still House Bar.

The landmark Limerick City pub is now approaching the final stages of its re-opening under the new leadership of Elite Hospitality, a dynamic and innovative hospitality group which includes venues such the popular entertainment venue ā€˜The Silvermineā€™ in North Tipperary.

Elite Hospitality states: ā€œLimerick is a vibrant, and exciting city of culture which we canā€™t wait to be a part of. We are delighted to announce the re-opening of the Still House Bar in a time we are more often hearing about bars closing rather than opening. From live music 7 nights a week, to festivals and events we have big plans for Limerickā€

Behind this endeavour is dynamic duo Danny Corbett and Dean Foley, who are passionate about redefining and reviving the nightlife and tourism economy.

Theyā€™ll have these new owners well trained. Load from The Island drink up in the Still House.

Good itā€™s reopening anyway.

Surprising thereā€™s no pub on brureee

Always liked the look of the place with the river and the mill

It would be too close for comfort for the residents of the Big House.

Likewise.

Youā€™d love Annacotty.

Jaysus, I didnā€™t realise that.

I know Kilmallock is only down the road but thereā€™s a few housing estates in Bruree, I think? Population is surely enough to sustain at least one pub & shop.

I thought the same, but @balbec tells me itā€™s a shit hole
