This seems to be the way it’s going among right wing headbangers. They’re even having measles parties for their children.

Wasn’t that an episode of southpark
I haven’t seen this but the idea of a party where parents hope their children will catch measles does sound like a satire.
Sadly it’s actually real.
Children can die from measles with the US’s CDC estimatuing the death rate is somewhere between 1 and 3 deaths in every 1,000 cases.
But Spiked Online and the Daily Telegraph ask: isn’t it character building?
I think some right wing media also argued the same about child rape.

Big fan of chicken pox.
You are a big fan of chicken pox?
Can you list the reasons why?
If we see your pen picture in the programme for the Wexford SFC final, will it say “Fan of Liverpool FC, Oasis, Only Fools And Horses and getting Chicken Pox”?
As an aside, I think “Smallpox” would be a great nickname for Dublin’s John Small.
If there’s a history of cancer or other serious skin related diseases in the family, doctors advise to get the kids vaccinated against the above mentioned diseases as a precautionary measure.
But some argue cancer might be character building for a child?
Afraid of voicing your opinion goys?
I thought you styled youselves as fearless truth tellers?
You need a hobby away from a computer/phone pal.
I remember as a child in the 80’s if a kid got chicken pox, parents would be hoping their kid got it so as to build immunity…you’d nearly be sent out to hang around with the infected kid until you caught it
the thinking was it was less dangerous to get it as a child as it was as an adult… just saying
