I was listening to Ronan Collins there and it put me in mind of one of my favourite Internet memories. The time that Kylie Fan remarked in a by the way fashion about how Ronan had represented Ireland in weightlifting at the 1968 Olympics and had just finished outside the medals. It was a time when you couldn’t fact check every single fucking thing on the Internet so it gained a bit of traction. Ultimately Ronan had to issue a denial on his radio show.
It was brilliant stuff alright. Whatever happened to Kylie Fan, or who is he on TFK?
