Missing People In Ireland

Slab be slabbing.

He did?

Let’s not derail thread here as young girl.missing and family no.doubt going through torture.

I find these stories just very harrowing. As a parent to a little girl, would rock right to the core thinking what these parents are now suffering through.

After the depravity of the Anna Kyrgiel murder I learned Im poorly equipped to process the grotesque events betrayed on someone’s daughter, someone’s baby girl. And that event takes no time in springing to thought in circumstances such as this young girl’s disappearance

If I, someone entirely detached from these events struggles thinking about possibilities at play, I can’t begin to frame what these parents now contend with.

Really hoping for positive ending here or even a call to folks to say she’s ok.

The guy is obviously a bit of a nut given the warnings about approaching them if spotted.

Why do they seem to be on the increase ?

I met my neighbour out last week when I was out for a run. I don’t know him that well just to say hello to. He’d keep himself to himself and I do too.

I had heard from my wife that his wife’s niece was the 16 year old kid who had died in Spain the week before.

I’d be awkward enough in those situations afraid of saying wrong thing but I caught his eye as I ran past and stopped to over my condolences.

He said the girls parents were over to him the night before for dinner and they were “completely broken”. We chatted for another minute or two and I offered my best. Hard to imagine what her parents are going through and it does shake you in a sort of selfish way as you think of own kids.

Stopping in those situations for a word is always right thing to do I realised.

I said that before, much to the ire of some on here

I do recall a reaction alright.

Keystone cops

There was a similar case to this a few years back iirc, think it was a car was found in the Blackwater near Fermoy. Fella had been missing a couple of decades. One of the main theories behind the missing Dwyers from Fermoy as well

happened in Wexford recently too, man went missing in 2018 but the car was found a year or more later in the water around Kilmore quay. He was an 89 year old convicted paedophile, so it was probably not high on locals priority for finding him.

Fuck him

It must have been a great honour for the Coveney family to have a pier named after Hugh.
