Missing People In Ireland

Big interest in this one

Barry Cummins who writes about these things was on the wireless this morning. He said that the indications are the body is female and has been buried for years. The dry summer and subsequent animal activity appear to have been factors in exposing the body

Could it have Larry Murphy’s DNA all over it?

If a poster had a choice what would they prefer for a close relative, would you prefer if they died or else went missing?
I suppose going missing has the advantage in that there is a possibility they’ll show up some day but however you then have the joejoe dullard type situation that is awful for the families. Death then of course has its obvious negatives but the good in this is at least you know what the situation is… tough one

Well I suppose it would depend on the likelihood of the person turning up alive. If you take Deirdre Jacob’s case, she disappeared completely out of the blue with nothing in her history or present life at the time to indicate she would go of her own free will. Therefore it is almost certain that she was abducted and is certainly dead now. In that case, I would imagine the family have accepted that there is no chance of her coming back and would just like her body so that she can be given a proper burial and the family can go somewhere to ‘visit’ her.

Either way it is a truly horrible state of affairs.

Missing is awful. The one fuck up the RA did.

Everyone knows that cunt was responsible. In the years he was locked up no girl went missing.

Community policing is needed, it’s a pity we went away you know!

Died. I wouldn’t wish “missing” on anyone.

where’s the evidence that says Larry Murphy was in the IRA?, he’s a done his time but ive never before heard he was in the RA, next you"ll be trying to link his name to Jean McConville

Is Gerry Adams not worse than the likes of Larry tho?
he has coordinated the disappearance and murder of more people than Larry could dream of and was elected to Dail Eireann on the strength of it, i think his count is 17…
not that we’re a nation of hypocrites or anything, Larry did his business on his own accord, Adams claims he did it for Irish republicanism, the people of Louth agreed anyway

Are you a Simpleton?

Community policing would result in taking Murphy out.

Hugh difference in innocent girls and rats for the brits.

Vol Alan Ryan should have gotten to him so if he wasnt tied up in the back bar of Stokes’s joint with a load of young ones

Are you a Simpleton? Community Policing  ffs

ebeneezer goode proposes we live in a state akin to something from " Lord of the Flies" where its ok to kill and cause the disappearance of rumoured dissenters ( on your own terms of course)against the regieme but if some loon goes off like Larry Murphy and does his own thing in a similar fashion he is guilty of a crime… what a fucked up man

Murphy wouldn’t last a week in South Armagh.

if he was a paedo under the guise of an irish republican he’d be fine tho

His cover being well & truly blown at this stage would be a serious hindrance alright.

just because murphy was a GGA man you dont automatically have to see him as a kindred spirit

Eamon Collins was a GGA man as well…

Jean McConville or JoJo Dullard
if you had a choive to bring one back who would it be?

Bring one back from where? Jean McConville is buried in Lisburn so I guess I would say Jo Jo.
