It’s been yonks since we had a music snob thread that led to a whole pile of ridicule and lads looking down their e-nose at others.
So, you’ve been chosen to save the earth by manning a solo mission to mars to extract a rare mineral that can be used to cool earth’s atmosphere which is in danger of over heating and killing all life as we know it. NASA have created the perfect rocket to get you there and back as quickly as possible but the technology is so fine and complicated they could only allow for 1 album to be stored on the CPU and no other devices can be brought on board - The mission will last 3 years in total.

It was an invitation to the board, mate. Feel free to post your own album… I’m in mid-growth cycle presently - I shaved about 4 weeks back so it’s beyond stubble but not quite a beard but getting there.
A thing like this would really have to be a compilation of sorts. The complete stone roses comes to mind.

It’s not even their best album (1977)
It’s the sound of a band growing/progressing mate. It’s punk/pop/rock/funk/reggae all in one - It’s as political/social as any of their albums and showed that punk wasn’t/isn’t restricted to the same three cord sound. It’s a thing of beauty.
Technology can’t be up to much if you can only store one album. I’m not sure I’d put much trust in this mission
