From my experience there are far, far more uncivilised angry cunts looking to let their agression out on someone than there are ‘power hungry referees bringing it on themselves’ out there.
Maybe we are just so used to brutal refereeing down here fellas don’t get so excited anymore.
The administrative side of the Cork referees thingy is rotten to the core and politics gets fellas up the ladder more than anything else.
The standards are awful, and its believed its adding to the lack of competitiveness of our county teams in hurling as the refs are too fussy. The more Cathal MacAllisters the better.
